1. Sealant Joints

4. Washing

Stucco gets dirty. Salt film, algae on the north elevation, and mildew are all normal near the bay.

Kickout flashing where a roof edge meets a wall is one of the most common missing details in stucco construction. If it’s missing, the roof dumps water directly into the wall every time it rains.
